What is your name/ username?
My name is Kristi better know around digiland as Kristi8004

What part of the world you live in?
I live in the same country/state I was born and raised in! Michigan-USA!

Are you married or single, have children?
Married to my best friend and soul mate and together we have a blended family totaling 6 children. (3 girls & 3 boys)

How long have you been digi scrapping?
Started digi in February 2007 so that's 4 years now..wow time flies when you're having fun!

How did you start and did you ever paper scrap?
I was a paper scrapper since I was in junior or senior high. I go online to search for some online shops to buy paper supplies from when I found out about digi scrapping. I tried it, loved it and never looked back!

What program do you use to scrap?
I started out with PSP 9 - upgraded to PSP X2 and Now I use PSE 7 (came with my pen tablet that I never use,LOL) and now thinking of going to PSCS5!

What is your style of scrapping if any?
Hmm, I'd have to say it depends on if I'm using a template or not ;) I love to use lots of papers and layer those and I LOVE to cluster!!

What inspires you, is it a photo, a kit, an idea?
Sometimes I see a kit and just KNOW what photo I'm going to use and sometimes I see a photo and go searching for a kit that would be perfect. And Sometimes, I see a kit I just HAVE to have and in which case if I don't have a photo-I'll get out the 'ol camera and get one!

What is your favorite item that you always like to use – a certain type of paper, element, action
I'm a total Sucker for stitching!!! And I love plaid papers and flowers too.

Out of all of Kat’s kits, which is your favorite and why?
So far my favorite is Whimsy Spring because I LOVE LOVE the textures and the colors are gorgeous-I also fell in love with the adorable owls!

Which is your favorite layout using Kat’s kits?

They say a pet often looks like its owner, do you own a pet and does it look like anyone you know?
We just got a new puppy a 4 month old pure bred Pit bull named Atreyu but no he doesn't look like any of us, LOL.

What’s your eating preference junk food , restaurants, eat in - tell us your favorite
I like it all bwahahahahaaaa, seriously though my DH and I love to try new things together so we often get cookbooks and prepare/cook meals at home but when we do go out we love to go to Johnny Carino's-our favorite country Italian restaurant.

Are you a movie buff, if so what movie(S) do ya like?
I am a HUGE movie buff!! I LOVE musicals like Grease and Phantom of the Opera and I LOVE romantic comedies like America's Sweethearts and The Breakup.

Everyone loves a holiday so if you could travel anywhere, what would be your favorite holiday destination?
Oh my DH and I have never had a honeymoon and are planning on having ours when the kids are older and out of the house at Lake Tahoe in the USA and outside of the USA I'd LOVE to visit the Islands of Fiji someday...they just look gorgeous and relaxing!

Do you have a funny or favorite quote or word you love or use all the time?
I love quotes but don't have one I use everyday. But the word I use ALL the time is Right! like when someone says something that I totally agree with I'll say "Right" but it's kind of drawn out like "RrrrIIiiiiiGGgghhhhT"! I'm a goofy goober I know LOL.

Meeting Rachnmaddie

Hello everyone!

Hope you are all having a nice Sunday.. It´s been raining cats and dogs over here so between the house cleaning and ironing I decided I´d like to introduce you another member of Kat´s fabulous team.. It´s no other than Rachel aka rachnmaddie! Enjoy :)

What part of the world you live in?

Are you married or single, have children? 

Married for 11 years to Mike and we have two chicklettes: Maddie (6) and Lauren (3)

How long have you been digi scrapping? 

I started digi-scrapping right after my oldest was born. I never paper scrapped, but my sister did. She made my daughters first album, and I wanted to continue it, but I didn't have the space to house the supplies. I found digi and never looked back!

How did you start and did you ever paper scrap? 

See above :)

What program do you use to scrap? 

I use PS CS4

What is your style of scrapping if any? 

I am not sure I really have a style. I like trying different things, but I know I am not good at the fantasy/eclectic style at all. I love the artistic value of those layouts though!

What inspires you, is it a photo, a kit, an idea? 

Both. Sometimes I see a kit and know immediately what photo goes with it, or sometimes I see a photo and seek out a kit!

What is your favorite item that you always like to use – a certain type of paper, element, action. 

I love stitching for some reason, and those new embellished overlays with glitter, scribbles and so-on.

 I have a few but here's one

 I have no pet right now, because our little house is too teeny!

What’s your eating preference junk food , restaurants, eat in - tell us your favorite. 

Oh I wish I could lie and say I am not a carb-a-holic, but it's true. I love breads and pastas! My favorite though is a Chinese restaurant downtown in Pittsburgh!

Are you a movie buff, if so what movie(S) do ya like? 

I love horror flicks. My favorite would be Poltergeist or Silence of the Lambs.

Everyone loves a holiday so if you could travel anywhere, what would be your favorite holiday destination? 

I am dying to visit New Zealand! I would love to be adventurous there one day!

Do you have a funny or favorite quote or word you love or use all the time? 

I use the word 'yo' alot. Like 'what's going on, yo?' I also make up words and use them in common situations with other people. Like spinach-artichoke dip is called spiniticus and I will really walk into a restaurant and order it thinking the person knows what I am talking about.

My name is Lenka, on the Internet I am using kindle.

I live in the Czech Republic

I am married, my husband´s name is Martin and we have one son Matthew, who is three years old.

How long have you been digi scrapping?
About three years.

How did you start and did you ever paper scrap?
My friends showed me how to scrap. And no, I have never paper scarpped.

What program do you use to scrap?
I use GIMP 7.

What is your style of scrapping if any?
I like simplicity, color, small but significant elements. And most importantly must be clearly visible photo.

What inspires you, is it a photo, a kit, an idea?
Usually it´s the kit. According to it I choose photo.

What is your favorite item that you always like to use – a certain type of paper, element, action
I love buttons, ribbons ,flowers and labels.

Out of all of Kat’s kits, which is your favorite and why?
I love all of them but my most favoutite is the Fall Festival. There are beautiful elements - color and owls.

I love Paris, and once I was there and it's a beautiful city. And Egypt, I like its history.

I live in the Czech Republic

Are you married or single, have children?
I am single, I live with my boyfriend. We have been together for already 8 years! We have a beautiful son Lukášek. He was born in September 2010.

How long have you been digi scrapping?
I am a real beginner, I have been digi scrapping for three months :-). My sister Dagi (you probably know her ;-)) told me that I should definitely try digi scrapping. So i tried and can´t stop with it :-)!!!

How did you start and did you ever paper scrap?
As I already said, my sister showed me how to scrap. And no, I have never paper scrapped.

What program do you use to scrap?
I use Adobe Photoshop CS3.

What is your style of scrapping if any?
I love simple layouts, small elements and cluster work. I also love playing with papers.

What inspires you, is it a photo, a kit, an idea?
Usually the kit. Then I try to choose an appropriate photo.

What is your favorite item that you always like to use – a certain type of paper, element, action
I love buttons, ribbons and flowers :-). 

Out of all of Kat’s kits, which is your favorite and why?
I love Kat´s kit called "Hug me". And why? This is simple – because it is so colourful, it really makes you feel wonderful!!! I love those colours, they are so nice and bright! And the elements are perfect, especially the teddy bears are so cute!

Which is your favorite layout using Kat’s kits?

They say a pet often looks like its owner, do you own a pet and does it look like anyone you know?
I don´t have any pet any more… We used to have a dog, but I don´t think that he looked like me at all :-)))

I like eating out, but we usually eat at home. It´s cheaper :-)

I love movies!!! Movies are an inseparable part of me! And most of all I love psychological and art films.

I love London. I have been there several times and I fell in love with this city.

My name is Marion, Online i use Mazzzz/mazzz or pinky, I dont actually know why i have 3 different id's i am indecisve at times and couldnt settle on a name when i was starting out in scrap land lol

Engaged for 10 years lol, and we have 3 kids

How long have you been digi scrapping?
Roughly about 14 months, I made my 1st page in Dec 09

How did you start and did you ever paper scrap?
I was a siggy maker on a forum and one of the other ladies showed me dst and it all stemmed from there.

What program do you use to scrap?
I use photoshop cs5

What is your style of scrapping if any?
I would say my style was clustered, I love simple layouts but i just cant do them

What inspires you, is it a photo, a kit, an idea?
Usually the kit, then i find a photo that works and then play about

What is your favorite item that you always like to use – a certain type of paper, element, action
I always have flowers, ribbons and try to fit in a patterned paper somewhere aswell

I love them but i adore Spring, The colours are stunning and make me feel happy
